This image was posted by the Rolling Stones’ Twitter account earlier today and everyone at the office got our panties in a twist because it included a gig in Singapore on March 15th. Panties were twisted further when the tweet was deleted and there was no sign of the Singapore gig on the official Rolling Stones website.
But the press release on the website says that two more Asian dates will be announced, so it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out that those two dates were on that now-deleted tweet, namely Shanghai and Singapore.
So it’s just a matter of waiting for the official announcement, and then fingers crossed that: 1. you won’t have to sell your left kidney to afford the tickets, 2. tickets run out before you can buy them with the money you sold your left kidney for, because the designated venue for the Singapore gig according to the errant tweet is the Sands Grand Ballroom, which doesn’t sound like it can hold that many people.
Anyway, if you don’t get to see the show, you’ll just have to imagine Mick Jagger singing “You Can’t Always Get What You Want” in your head instead of seeing him sing it on that stage in Singapore.
fingers crossed Singapore gets back on that lists!
my gateway to see the band lives are in Macau and Singapore! at least I can have an option to choose which one has cheaper for travel fares!
and if Macau gets fucking sold out instantly!
